Long Stay Tourist Visa Subclass 676
(six and twelve months visa)
You will need to apply for a long stay tourist visa (subclass 676), if you intend to visit Australia for the purpose of tourism and wish to stay for more than three months.
The six and twelve month holiday visa is a long stay entry visa for those planning to stay in Australia for longer than 3 months visiting for tourism purposes or to visit family and friends.
This visa does not allow you to work but you can visit Australia for up to six or twelve months. It is open to any age group but you are required to show that you are able to support yourself financially.
In order to apply for a six/ twelve month holiday visa you must agree with the following conditions:
Not to work in Australia
be able to provide evidence that you have over $AUS 6,900 in your bank
Visitors over the age of 70 (Visitors Visa Medical Certificate 70-85) a doctors report is required alongside completed application form.
Applications over 70 years of age may also be required to provide evidence they have sufficient health/travel insurance for their stay in Australia.
It takes around 2-5 weeks for your visa to be granted.
What do I need to apply?
A completed application form.
A bank statement in your name showing funds in excess of £2000/€3500.
A valid passport.
Payment of either £65/€105 (up to 6 months stay)
Payment of either £80/€120 (up to 12 months stay)
